We're excited to welcome you to the 2026-2027 Season! This page will guide you through important links and next steps that you need to be successful this season as a distinguished member of the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Conductors  will share music, recordings, and other lesson materials via the Google Classroom. ALL STUDENTS MUST BE CONNECTED WITH THE GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Parents are strongly encouraged to join as well to make sure your student doesn't miss any important information. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a school email address it likely will not work with Google Classroom (and also may not allow you to receive/send emails). Please have an alternate email address to use during your time with the ASYO. 

ASYO strongly encourages all musicians to take part in their school’s performing arts programs—whether orchestra, band, choir, or theater—as part of our commitment to supporting arts education throughout Western North Carolina. While we recognize that some students may face unique circumstances that prevent participation, we believe that those who are able should not only be involved, but also strive to lead and strengthen their school communities through the arts.
